Floor plate not only adds a nice appearance, it will make for a safer work environment. We carry floor/tread plate in the following metal types:
The floor plate shape is a thick sheet of metal with raised lugs in various patterns. Floor plating can sometimes be referred to as “diamond” plating due to the unique diamond shaped lugs that decorate the metal shape. While it’s most commonly used as flooring, due to its non-slip texture and ability to support heavy loads, floor plate is also utilized in tool boxes and dock plates. This shape can be cut to length through our shearing service. We carry stainless steel, hot rolled, and aluminum floor plates.
